Lanna Britt
Director of Operations

Lanna Britt was named Healthy Weight Commitment Foundation (HWCF) Director of Operations in June 2016. She is an expert in broadcast journalism and integrated communications. She has extensive experience in project management and planning, and excels at successfully executing and blending the many intricate and complex details it takes to drive results and meet organizational goals.

Lanna spent nine years at the FOX News Channel, beginning with her job as Intern in the Jerusalem Bureau and culminating in her role as fill-in Senior Producer for Special Report with Bret Baier, the network’s nightly news show that averages 2.1 million viewers.

At FOX, Lanna was a member of the network’s editorial staff and was cross-trained to perform every job on the program. In addition, she played an integral role in the network’s coverage of the 2008 Republican and Democratic party nominating conventions, securing on-camera interview participation of numerous elected officials, party and campaign spokespeople and world leaders.

In addition to her key role in FOX’s election coverage, Lanna also produced special coverage segments for the network during high profile political events in Washington, D.C. and New York City, and also handled live breaking news events.

Lanna graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications and a Minor in Business Administration from the University of Florida in Gainesville. She currently resides in Richmond, Virginia, with her husband and two-year-old son.
